QUALITY & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Emerald EMS has been a leading manufacturing partner for the medical, bio-medical and safety industries for decades and holds all required certifications for printed circuit board assemblies used in high-reliability products and components.
All four Emerald EMS U.S. facilities, as well as our Shenzhen, China, manufacturing facility, are ISO13485:2016 certified, meeting all necessary requirements for medical PCB assembly.
In order to help our medical device electronics assembly customers better compete in an increasingly global economy, selling end products all over the world, Emerald EMS has also attained Japan’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Certification, which is similar to the ISO 13485 certification, but allows us to ship directly to medical end-users in Japan. The GMP Certification is our first medical PCB assembly certification outside of the U.S. in recognition of the ever-changing, ever-expanding medical global market in which our partner-customers compete.
In addition to our medical electronic assembly certifications, Emerald EMS is also equipped to build to IPC Class 3 standards where required.
Emerald EMS facilities also support RoHS assembly requirements, and we can assist our customers in transitioning a Tin Lead assembly into a RoHS compliant one.
In serving this tightly regulated market, Emerald EMS prioritizes transparency and full traceability, utilizing a customized Track, Trace and Control (TTC) System that provides our customers with detailed traceability, all the way to the reference designator, on enrolled products.
